I was born and raised in Calhoun, GA, and graduated with a degree in journalism from the Univ. of GA. I am the author of 13 novels, 12 of which are mysteries.  For AUNT MATILDA'S GHOST, my first published book and the only one for young readers, I received the Excellence in Writing Award from Winthrop University for the best published book for children that year by a SC writer. Several of my books have been published in paperback, large print and in foreign editions.   THE ANGEL AND THE JABBERWOCKY MURDERS,the sixth mystery in the Augusta Goodnight series, published in December 2006. I live with my husband, Gene, in Fort Mill, SC. We have two daughters and five grandchildren.
